Clouds of WhiteA Poem by Melinda McQueenWith purpose.White and pouty, Hanging in low sags. Their surroundings grey, Their bellies lax.
The heart full, Swelling with pride. Flowing into pools, Downward their substance glide.
Soft to the wishful touch, Floating in their own way. High and lifted up As the Lord is their stay.
Clouds of white Reign securely overhead. To pour of themselves is their
delight As the sky is their bed.
Their beauty lies within The Grace Keeper’s secret. Though they live in the sky
without an end, His grace rains a million
droplets.
Raining in power Is the strength of Christ. His mercy showers Through clouds of white. © 2014 Melinda McQueen |
