The Power to Believe

We have all we need to believe.

The place it falls,

Free from law.

Ever present in its strength
Is the power to believe.

 

God in all His grace,

Orchestrated the way

To bring a wayward people to Himself,

Reaching into the greatest depths.

 

A world on its hinges frail,

Doomed to death, the sinner’s tale.

Sunken hearts in defeat

Longed for the power to believe.

 

When God sent His Son

The battle was won.

The hearts of men

Filled by the Spirit within.

 

We have someone in whom to trust

As He lives within us.

The Lord has set free

The power to believe.
