Let Me Roll on the WatersA Poem by Melinda McQueenThough the tide comes, He is near. The sky is high, The sea is deep. My dreams are nigh, For in Thy grace I believe.
Though life throws
curve balls And my hope falters, On Thee I call… Let me roll on the
waters.
Though the tide roars And the waves toss
about, May I believe in Thee
all the more. Thy love ever
abounds.
The current is
strong, Let me not wander This raging sea alone… Let me roll on the
waters.
Life can be hard and
unforgiving And nothing seems to
break my fall. Then I remember Thy
mercy is ever-living, As the Holy Spirit is
one in all.
The waters of Thy peace. The waters of Thy
love. The waters of Thy
mercy. The waters of Thy
Holy Son.
Calling forth faith Which comes from the
Father, There is nothing I can’t
face… Let me roll on Thy
waters. © 2014 Melinda McQueenReviews
