Though the tide comes, He is near.

The sky is high,

Then I remember Thy mercy is ever-living,

As the Holy Spirit is one in all.

 

The waters of Thy peace.

The waters of Thy mercy.

The waters of Thy Holy Son.

 

Calling forth faith

Which comes from the Father,

There is nothing I can’t face…

Let me roll on Thy waters.

Again I get this reading in my head as a song - an uplifting and soul enriching piece of magical lyricism. You words sing off the page like Whoopy Goldberg in Sister Act - dont mean to be flippant - I happen to find those kids of worship full of soul - so I guess Im saying this is full of soul then Melinda.
