A Little More of Thee

Living for Jesus.

To feel Thee closer,

To know Thee more fully.

To grow in Thy might and power,

To have a spirit set free.

 

I long for Thy grace,

For Thy touch of peace.

To seek Thee in this place,

A little more of Thee.

 

Remind me that I’m small,

And the things I pursue

Don’t matter at all

If to Thee I stay not true.

 

As the sun lights the sky,

And the river runs into the sea…

So I too, need to be alive in Christ,

A little more of Thee.

 

In Thee is my strength found,

My soul is nourished in Thy holiness.

In Thee my spirit abounds

For I am wonderfully blessed.

 

Let it please my King

As to Thee, my life I daily bring.

Let there be less of me

And a little more of Thee.
