Little Baby

Little Baby

A Poem by Melinda McQueen
"

The Christ was born.

"

So small, yet filed with strength,

Little Baby, did You know?

That even Your birth would make people believe

And that You were the promise to behold?

Cuddled in the manger beneath a heavenly glow,

Little Baby, warmed by Your Father’s love.

In Your eyes, were miracles to be told,

The greatness of God above.

Resting peacefully in a lowly stable,

Little Baby, were You cold?

Or were You still able

To feel God’s warmth You have always known?

Filled with such insight,

Little Baby, the greatest gift to the world.

Shining The Light

Through the grandest pearl.

How did it feel,

Little Baby, to be the answer to God’s plan?

So tiny, so real,

Cradled in the Master’s hand.

Angels gathered in singing,

Little Baby, Savior of all.

King of kings.

A Little Baby answered the call.
