Miracle in the Manger

Miracle in the Manger

A Poem by Melinda McQueen
"

The perfect gift.

"

Soft and warm,

Nestled in His bed,

The Savior was born;

God in the flesh.

He gave up heaven’s throne

And now lay in a bed of straw.

He braved the cold,

The miracle in the manger would save us all.

His heart now beat anew

As He was now living in the world He made.

A life of ministry He would pursue,

With the Father His stay.

What a perfect night,

The star shone in all God’s glory.

What a sight "

Miracle in the manger, His love story.

He would instill faith,

Bind up the brokenhearted,

Extend God’s grace,

And ultimately offer His life as sin’s pardon.

How merciful was the Savior’s love

To offer His life as a wager.

The truest gift came from above,

Miracle in the manger.
