Before Tomorrow's RainA Poem by Melinda McQueenHold on to the good times.Joy fills the heart As a river fills the ocean. Power to the soul imparts Such an ignited devotion. Take up your delights, Whatever makes you happy. Carry them in your sights, Before tomorrow’s rain, store up faith to believe. Making the most out of life, Finding joy in the little things. Laughing from within makes the spirit bright, Enveloping all life brings. Struggles come to reality, And you know not what to do. A prayer lifted keeps you free, Before troubles reign, know what you have to come back to. Love with everything you are Those who have a place In your deepest heart, Before tomorrow’s rain. For you never know What tomorrow has in store. It just may remind you that this world is on borrow Until we all reach the ultimate shore. Shout your love, Hold on to your faith. For there’s much to be done Before tomorrow’s rain.© 2013 Melinda McQueenReviews
