Little Bird

There were a pair of geese with their chicks at our home. Some of them have returned after a year, which inspired me to write a poem about it...

Little Bird:

Little bird in the nest

who could know

where you will go?

Above the clouds

or on the ground

do you know where to go?

Every feather

Makes you clever

should you know where to go?

Little bird in the nest

now has a golden chest

no one knows where you'll go, little bird in the nest.

I do not know if this poem is too short maybe, but I just felt inspired to write something like this. Please comment on whether you think the poem is too short or has no meaning? :)

I can imagine this poem in a children's book. It's has that sort of tone to it, which I like. Also, it is structured well for that type of poetry.

I definitely don't think it's too short. Personally I'm a fan of shorter poems that can get their meaning across simply and swiftly, and I think that's what you have done here.
