I keep questioning my mind

Why I feel so left behind

Help me to unlock

The things that keep me blocked

When I see but I don't look

Touch but I don't feel

Caught by a hook

That wants to seal the deal

Take me to the chest

With gold keys and the rest

The answer in my heart

Is the place where I should start

Questioning my mind

Questioning my soul

Could you please be kind

Could you make me whole

Thank you for commenting, I wrote this poem when I was going through a period in my life where I questioned myself because of what I do. I am glad that it resonated with you as well. :).

it is so emotional writing. it shows that the poet really was attached with someone and after departure from him/her, he/she calls to be together. But when he does not find in reply, he tried to give piece by questioning to his/her mind. I have also written such poem entitled with Talking to Myself. Nice job, Thanks for sharing.
