Silence of the ManA Poem by PoemRodentInner reflections at this momentSilence of the Man
Why speak words when you can feel me Why say something when you can see I hurt, I ache the want of something true Shattered dreams of my insanity I drew
I've come to realize I am age drawn spent Of the time I invested and words I lent People care less how a heart can behold They will sit and condemn in ten fold
My voice is just a whisper a fragile course With no more power and age without force My hand and my heart know of much gain Yet in proving the fact is taking its strain
A plea for acceptance of who I am today Seems avoiding and hardship in many play I can't help but withdraw alone in cell Mind withers thoughts of my living hell
