Breaking Down Walls

Solid you say? Don't even try.

Its firmly set and concretes dry.

My self worth its not here at all

You can't possibly climb my wall.

Alas you're showing the signs

Its crumbling slow in designs

I'm hammering away at the bits

Finding cracks and little slits

Even your rebuttals are losing

Cause your heart I am amusing

Keep fighting, refusing attraction

Denial is breaking its traction

You will slowly come into me

Where together the us will be

Together we will soar the sky

Never alone shall our love die.

Your cadence is methodic and slow moving, evoking a seeping willingness to wait. To wait for something that is being denied you for all the wrong reasons.
