Say NothingA Poem by Christoph Poe
"Say Nothing"
I longed for just a touch, A moment to rush From the fear of rejection. I stood stationary At the center of your universe Yet you refused to revolve around my star. I burned out Into a Black Whole But you didn't come to me Until nothing remained of you. Until nothing remained of me. You say nothing. I say nothing. We say nothing. Spiraling into nothingness, We attempt to revolve. I'll never reverse The damage you have done. I can't, don't you see? I'm numb by your touch And blind by your light. We can remember Those days that I warmed you With my weak light. I'll rip you apart now, And I'm sorry I let this happen. Say nothing. Say nothing. I'll sleep in my nothingness, Until I become Hole again. And if you ever become Whole, We can disintegrate into one another And say nothing. © 2015 Christoph PoeReviews
