"One of the most important things that you need to do as a writer is to create an emotional connection between your book and the reader? How do you do that? 

One of the most important things that we must do as a writer is to make sure that your readers have some sort of emotional connection between them and the story. Establishing a connection between the two creates this thing that I like to call the "Point of No Return." Why? Because once the reader connects themselves to a character, event, or anything in your story, it is difficult to part with out knowing what comes next. It is one of the many things that makes you want to keep reading until the very end of the book."
