The lone step

The lone step

A Poem by Pmars

The lone step stares at the stairs as they wind their twisting way higher, motionless, caught in time, a fleeting glance at the road to the top, from a distance, always watching those that strive to reach greeatness, the lone step, their first step, always stepped on never remembered, forever outside the realm of stardom, lost looking, wandering and found, aging youth, to youthful age, understanding nonsense, motionlessly moving, advancing backwards. The lone step that never quit, never started, forever lost among those that are found.
