Oh tantrum so black

Yay! My first post here. A poem about that moment when everyone who believes in you indirectly tells you you're incompetent.

Oh tantrum so black,

What once was right, right now I’ll shed

All my peace now I lack

Senseless scars, scars I’ll accept

You’ll learn to fear fears

What once was fright, now frightens you

Quench my thirst for tears...

 

You’ll learn to drown it all

Go through it, break the broken wall

Drown it all in seas of ink!

And board the ship that cannot sink

As I now choose to resign

From being a dot... I’ll be a line!

Again, this is my first post here. Constructive criticism and feedback of any kind is greatly appreciated—after all, I learn more from my mistakes than from my succeses.

I really know the feel you wrote about. I liked the last paragraph a lot. :) Though the first paragraph didn't flow as nice and was kinda hard to get through. This might be just my personal opinion. Another thing I don't like (personal opinion, too) is the font size. I find it distracting to read such a big writing (big as in font size).

As I already said, I love the last paragraph. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Really? I actually thought the first paragraph was a lot nicer. When I read it out loud, those repeated words added stress and tension to it. Oh, and the last line is what it is because I really couldn't find any other word that rhymes.

It was just my personal opinion. The first paragraph is pretty nice too, but doesn't flow as well (for me). Anyway, just wait for others to review this too. ;)
