Venting in Technicolor

Venting in Technicolor

A Poem by C.D.Ester

Venting in Technicolor
A poem by Craig Ester (Based on a Writing By William Moore
Frenzy
Rage
Pain
Anger
Bitterness
Scars
The colors explode as I try to let go of the madness
I thought I would be glad this journey was coming to an end
Yet I begin to blend what I feel
What I tried to conceal
With a fear of the real
Colors swirl in the mind of an artist
I see the paintings on the wall
The stories of the fall of my own disillusionment
I begin to vent
Vent the windows break
Screaming curses of hate but wait
Is hate my fate
Must I degenerate so far?
It’s true I see them in me and all of you
Not the bitter, not the angry
I see…the colors
I see the red of your hate
The orange of your rage
The yellow of joy
The green of your growth
The brown of your frown
The indigo of your get up and go
In the rainbow of your heart
But oh Brother
There I go
Venting in Technicolor
