Crooked Path

Crooked Path

A Poem by That Girl

I walk along the crooked path of life.

Its hard and has its risks but gives a hell of an adventure

I may not completely know who i am.

Each day i learn something new.

Im a daughter of a young mother, and a girl who doesn't know her father.

Raised in a home where all is religious.

Where the path that should be taken is straight.

I came to that fork in the road once.

Unknowingly i took the path im on now.

Met depression at is worst

Looked at my own reflection in water and saw nothing of use.

Ugly... Used... Wasted... and above all unloved.

I have learned this path has its hardships.

It has also shown me the joy of lust, drugs, and things that are enjoyable.

Fear used to be my friend and it consumed all my thoughts

Now there is no fear only the urge to find more trouble.

This path is not for the faint hearted.

Its for the troubled, alone, and lost.

I speak now for all who walk this path along with me.

Prepare for the worst because it will happen.
