Faces Fade, Words Remain

Faces Fade, Words Remain

A Poem by E York
"

I wrote this when I realized that I think in words most of the time and images only sometimes. Therefore, I remember things in language, not pictures. Read and review: I'll return the favor for you.

Faces Fade, Words Remain

The days pass by
Like shards of silver glass
Tearing up my throat,
Remembered as the words I wrote

I used this on a painting where I put mirror shards and such. I didn't break the mirror...

Don't care for the format (but not sure if this is how you intended this to be posted or if it was a mess up in the posting because I've had that happen myself). As for the poem, BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the whole shards of glass bit tearing up the throat. Great idea and thanks for sharing. Bravo!
