Something! Something!

A little something about writers block.

Something little, something small, something! something!
Anything at all.

In the winter of my writing looking at the paper with a haze...
Why won't my vocabulary open up and set a poem ablaze.

My books are blank and there is nothing in my head...
So rearly do I find myself with with so little to be said.

Are my writing days all over?
Is my passion all but dead?
Something! Something! Anything!
Anything at all!

As a writer, I can relate to this very well. Most writers have dry spells at times. I have found that the harder I try, the longer the words stay away. Sometimes you just need a break to let the poetic juices flow again. Don't worry it will come back to you, when you least expect it.
