You.

You.

A Poem by Placenta

Simple little things that you do

and who you are, have pushed forth

the beauty in me.

Everything I love and care

for I have found

in the solace of your voice

and the warmth of your

your body

laying next to mine.

And as the sunlight pours through

my windows and

enhances your features,

I realize that I am

who I've always wanted to be,

drenched in you

and soaked in sun.

Forever to be changed

by what I've found

lying in the depths of your eyes,

the eclipsing fate that

has highlighted my abysmal

life.
