For you

For you

A Poem by Placenta

I'd fly into the sun, you see

if it meant you'd stay.

I'd disembody myself from the world,

I'd do it all today.

I'd cut myself away from you

with a rusty blade.

I'd break myself apart, my love.

I'd give myself away.

If only you saw the light in me

God, what would you do

if I told you that these scars,

each one resembles you.
