Beautiful

Beautiful

A Poem by Placenta
"

This is my first free-form poem. The first one in which I don't rhyme or anything. I'm pretty proud of it, honestly. :)

"
The rise of your chest
Inhale
exhale
inhale
    .........
              exhale
You open your eyes,
Oh beauty of mine.

The morning dances off your eyelashes
And I can taste the air around you

      My heart leaps in relief
I hear you say my name
   Say it again!
Because I have never felt as beautiful

As when I'm dangling from your lips.

I liked this poem. The feeling you get when that one person says your name or utters any words to you. The feeling down your spine that just makes you cringe, yet makes you feel so alive. Very well done for your first free-form poem.
