Dear Elements, Let Me Find Myself

Dear Elements, Let Me Find Myself

A Poem by Placenta

i called upon the wind

to sway my body straight

but my balance was thrown off

by the many pills i ate

i called upon the earth

to stay beneath my feet

but the land is dead and frozen

and i slid into the sleet

i called upon the fire

to stay inside my heart

but it became a brushfire

and spread to many parts

i called upon the water

to cool the blistered burns

stung in the fire of life

i have many things left to learn

I enjoyed the fact that you explored each of the elements seperately, but there's something off about the ending. I think it's because you didn't actually mention what the water did, you just related it back to the fire again. Otherwise, good!
