Goodbye, Sunshine

Goodbye, Sunshine

A Poem by Placenta

Good morning sunshine,
the night is gone, you go your own way
nothing i can do now
will ever make you stay.
Good morning sunshine, its a terrible day

I try so hard and sometimes
effort doesnt mean a thing
And i just roll with your punches
And deal with what life brings.
And ill just stand by your side
And nurse this sorrow you sing
Good morning sunshine
This cant be happening.

Sunshine i cant bear
To see you pull out your pretty hair
You yell and curse
that this life's the worst
And that everything is unfair
Goodnight my sunshine
Believe me i really do care
