Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Phillip J Clayton
"

A ceremonious descent into darkness.

"

On this empire of loneliness,

A black crown rises, the gathering has begun.

Ceremonies, sworn to secrecy,

Protecting a tainted truth.

Rise my legions, spread my gospel!

Come forth mistress, take as you will,

Ripe and ready, raped of their dignity,

There is no virtue here.

Into the shadow of the night,

Let’s descend, the abyss awaits.

Under a pale moonlight, the ashes blow,

We are one, united in sorrow.

In the professional space, I am almost a diety... I say that with the greatest of humility. In my personal life I am frail and a primitive man... Self-actualization is not all it's cracked up to be. .. more..
