Beautifully written piece. And I'm sorry it took me so long, I hit a major writers block and have been absent from here as a result. I hope to get my muse back soon though.
In contrast to romantic love (which can be self-absorbed), I'm filled with a sense of universal love when I read your poem. You paint a word mural that feels like experiencing life from a loving point of view. Like the narrator is tapping into all the pleasures & observations along the path without injecting judgment to define a thing as good or bad. This is just life, rolling along, & it's as beautiful as we want to see it and/or love it (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
Wow, superb flowing words of lingering beauty and poetic love of drowning in silence comfort and sheer delight, surrounded by euphoria, calming relaxing and hold you tight, making you feel so alive and close to the one you love.
Wonderful flow of words and thoughts. You question many things and you led the reader to a strong ending. I loved the poem. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

mmmmmmm sweet drowning eh!? had to read and re-read to catch the slow deliberate lines .. such a gifted use of water, time and color from start to closing ... i read once that drowning is one of the most peaceful ways to die ... one may hold breath for 2-3 minutes and in one big gulp we sleep a deep sleep ... if love never hurt .. this would be the well to drown in wouldn't it ... the splash of passion and Crimson for me is timed just right ... hearts and souls (not to forget minds) melded to one is probably the highest forms of love we can experience ... i am left with a sense of longing Lingering .. well done!
