Falling for the Moon

Falling for the Moon

A Poem by B

She sits on a silver horizon
Breaking an ocean from sky
Touching a ray in endless kisses
Revisiting a course of a sun
Knowing that time in tranquil blue
It too shall pass
Unraven in hindering glow
Long after a night show
Caring for all that is unseen
Peeking into a realm of green
She stands by looking through
Restlessly watching a benevolent sign
Pairing a twin of this soul
Tracking star timid shadow
The moment a glisten of curtain fall
A throne of golden bliss
Some move in tandem hold
Throwing in a dependent tale
Falling for this moon
Riddles of words would dwindle
As fond hearts collide
A pitch unsought of the night
Seeking true

The silver lining of a tender love taken too soon to a distant star...
resting beside you every night as heaven covers the atmosphere with
lullabies... a moonlit dream where memories sleep. truly, Pat

i think this is Mother Earth.using her moon's light..looking out at us, and for us...watching hearts collide, always providing the beautiful background for love...

sweet - thank you
i think your opening lines are strong ...really like the way the moon "breaks" the sky line mmmmmmmmmmmm in sparkly silver and blues ... and kisses rays ... i read it as the animal .. and see them serenely gliding in fluid bliss from those kisses .. or could be the connection ol' moon has with Sol ;) L4 using "a course" and "a sun" is very loose and open .. one might imagine many other worlds .. i want it to read "the course" and "the sun" so my feeling is grounded a bit .. in this very abstract lovers' mysticism .. the pairing of souls personifying the sun and moon so beautiful says i! in L16 do you mean throne instead of "thrown"? love the tandem hold .. i would fall for that moon any time ...i think your closing is also powerful ..riddles and questions abate as we do find and fall in true love ... i read several times and each time became more absorbed in your poem ..lovely title ..inspiring pic ..and a romantic deeply reflective poem says i! all flow well together ..
