Sentimental Bold

Sentimental Bold

A Poem by B

Unlike the seamless mirage her reflection
Sea shades of royalty would spur inside
Piercing eyes forgone a transparent search
Passionate seconds through rose like words
Enchanting stares through star black
Echoes of the run foam a heated shore
Whispering shots beat shadows of elixir
Aurora hides in her glaring scene
Housing colors of deep red shimmer
Dressing cascades of his call
Beholding a note of all that is
As hope appears through landing fate
Green groves of lands swim afar
For sight would never gather
Opaque widowed deep berries
As lips touch the edge of desire
Petal curves to a sentimental fold

Love the picture you have picked for this writing. I enjoyed the flow and the images it painted in my mind's eye. The line "As lips touch the edge of desire" touched my heart very much.

Well done!

Thank you HL
The imagery in this one is both beautiful and imaginative. However, I am having some trouble establishing continuity within the couplets. Sometimes the second line seems to proceed logically from the first, but at other times it doesn't. Of course, perhaps that was the poet's intent.
