Sweet Dew

Sweet Dew

Like a single drop of hope out of the rain
A note uttered to the happy music of this heart

Crowns wedded by released fingers

As your eyes have seen me after so much seperation
We shade those mornings in sweet dew

Solo leaf setting a fluttering sound

Talking of the stories we would know
Of all the strife that hit those roofs

The declaration of love

A calming time as comfort sets in
With you i could feel the peace of this world

Feeble lashes through those eyes

The sadness of those tearful eyes would escape
As the sun shines on your cheeks

Verdant roads in security

Holding my hands like that innocent child
We retreat into a desolate bounty of gardens

Tulip lips touching each other

The white cloud we reside in
A harp of those timid strings of your heart

Pinnacle tide reflecting guards

All the joy sits here next to you
Longing to touch the idea of our destiny

The opera production following a crowd

The running rivers of this internal blood
Has known a meandering picture

A mad trance remaining through

Like we had not met before
As my hair flew into this moment

The cottage hidden in those woods

You look up at this tree of youth
Dropping serenity through toughness

Retrieving a memory never lost

A fruit of life thick skinned
Hidding the softest innocence within

Creating a sheet of music

Birds would make a home within this tune
Something about it

Makes it at first sight
