Color Caught

Color Caught

A Poem by B

It was not a stale palate of paint
Or a valiant risky endeavor

Caught between simple manifested spaces
Lines dawdle as they lay there beautifully

Without a sincere dubious outlook
They were left extensively to run

Tugged in balance with clear intention
They were gleaming yet remained caught

Released into sparkles a background of bright
Rushing to fill all places in bands of color

They seek a view unmindfully we know little
Mimicing a wavering river they run

Light burst out of the darkness intimately
Words created towards your heart quietly

Falling into a compound bucket of thought
They stare up to a fortunate sky

Pleated in a rakish spur
Delicately like old reflections would remain

This gives me a sense of peace, contented simpleness, with a bit of futility...very beautifully written.

Thanks JC ...........
this reminds me of some poems i just left on napkins or envelopes, undone.

there was always the going back to them...that sky that lighted up the possibilities of lines just lying there waiting to be awakened...or re-awakened.
