definitely thought provoking for me ..the connection between compassion and understanding is a good one ... though i think there are other things as well that gaining "understanding" demands ... "seeing" and "feeling" in your second couplet are at odds in my experience .. feelings too many times will cloud my sight ;)) second line of that couplet gives rise to my impression that perhaps lines are missing ..though you heard them in your head :)
so the closing kind of trails off for me ... Nisreen! i think this poem lay between your very abstract and concrete self .. spiritually and philosophically it is quite engaging for me .. so glad you shared it!

The first two lines of this piece are nice - particularly because I think them partly true.
The next two are at odds with my personal belief in the teachings of the bible, however, and the poem got lost to me at that point. Though it looks like you had fun putting this together, and I hope it brought you some creative relief?
