Searching for MeaningA Poem by BFilled with marked serene being The durable ropes we grab through Upon the waves of blazing wifts Tall spirited are the trees we climb To be in content happiness within To serve beyond a titled purpose Neglecting the means to a flaired end A moonlit search for meaning Journies that glisten endlessly Booked are the visible seats of life With alternating red rows to play We solemnly hold a night Of gazing pleasantly at the stars Through recognized screens of love we seek Either we rise in amusement or descend For no prison woud be drawn in harshness Than that of steering self doubt So through this innate search for meaning We return to a start Knowing that no life is to be squandered If the idea of giving resides in amity
