Some sort of principle

Some sort of principle

A Poem by B

So much silence has sparked
The enviable
Inevitable start
Accepting shortcomings
For an angel heart
Some in probation
Others feed to fly
The lies we live with and for
To keep up
Some ice frozen on steel bars
Today a pretty day
No disappointments
Given no expectations
Nothing to hide
Or pushed to the side
Principle removed
And to no one's surprise
Rising for a solute nothingness
Fallen for everything
Trying to hide
Some none complacency
Pushing things to the side
Beyond up
So cold within
And outside
Fire less logged onto a pile
Until one more day passes by
You realized
Nothing to find
Fighting a piece of my mind
With no peace you confide
Confusing a careless motive
For a calm

you pack a lot in your poems always ... first three couplets for me are most powerful .. i send my 5 grown children a Dad's Corner every now and then and the most recent was about taking the idiosyncratic oath ;) it means when we are friends enough to know the irksome idiosyncrasies of those friends, co-workers, lovers mates etc. we decide if we will accept them and have peace or reject them, and create our own anxiety, frustration and anger within our selves ... perhaps without even trying to talk it over and work things out .. the middle reminds me of all the barriers we build and maintain as a result of "small things" really .. and in closing is a person (maybe me;) who decides to bury things so deep the lie is to the self .. very thought provoking and always amazing, unique use of words Nisreen!

What a lovely way of expressing your thoughts you have. I truly love the way you write.."for an angel heart, some in probation' how darn bitter sweet it is.

What a lovely way you have expressed this. I sternly could not have done it like you!

I love the couplets. You have such a great way of stringing each together. This poem hits home to me, I could really relate. Most people have just accepted the way things are and so not want to fight to make them different or better.. confusing a carless motive for a calm. Very real. Loved it
