Voice

Voice

A Poem by ZaneFame

A girl with blue eyes,
lays awake at night.
She turns up the music,
and shuts out the light.

Her mind opens up,
She escapes a world of hate.
She ponders for a few hours,
Is this really her fate?

To be abandoned and lonely,
with no one to love.
Is this really what was decided,
by the good man above?

She doesn't understand,
why her life is so bad.
Why does she deserve this,
must she always be so sad?

The night grows colder,
as she ponders on.
She heard a brief voice,
Before the voice was gone.

Dear Child, it said,
This fate is your choice.
Decide for yourself,
It's why I gave you a voice.

Sometimes a poem can be about what others feel..as in writing a book where you take on a charactor and put yourself in their place .. as for the poem it is nicely done and comes across as honest emotion
