Try God, Then We'll Talk

Try God, Then We'll Talk

A Poem by Amethyst Wave

I made love on the corner of the street

We circled, we circled, and now we are complete.

There was a war and hell frozed over

You are my love, you are my lover.

I never saw God in this form; this way

There was nothing we could do, we stopped and swayed.

We put one foot out, the next followed

This was our day but tomorrow's forever.

I have seen the light it's travelled far

From star, to star, this was ours.

Distance & time put out effect

We never lied, we never could bet.

And I never saw God in all it's beauty

Fought the world and Mother's fury.

The damage was rough, we went through enough

We will talk again, our love will win again.
