PrologueA Chapter by Pinkhorses222 years before the main story.
I was at my boyfriend's house, and I was so excited. I was finally going to give him that watch he wanted for Christmas, but 1,000 times better, that is, by my judgement. I don't really know if that can be measured.
I asked him, "Remember asking for a watch last Christmas?" "Yes. Of course I remember." he replied. I then gave him a small green, silky box with a bright red bow on it. He looked up at me, and I knew what he was thinking. You know I know what it is, right? He took the lid off the box to find a silver watch. He then took it out to find a note: It has over 1,000 functions, and if you want me to change it a bit, just come to me. I have one too. His mouth dropped for the first time I had ever seen, and I sware it could have touched the floor if it were any further dropped. I had finally impressed him with my intelligence. He was like me, the only one who understood me, and gave me my first real challenge, and now I had beat it. I smiled. It was all I could do other than to say, "If we ever need to save ourselves from getting killed or something, this should free us just fine. There's earbuds that connect to it in the box, too. © 2014 Pinkhorses22 |
