Time For LoveA Poem by IvyThe repetative part is from a song I'm working on. It's about uniting the world, and setting aside differences to realize that were not that different after all. Love can change the world.
We have a problem
Not of any one nation But of the whole human population It's time to erase the lines on the map Get translators here ASAP Theres nothing wrong with pride Until it starts to divide And define Who you are and who you'll help You justify by saying they're different, they don't count But you don't see We're not all that different, you and me We're just people living, breathing, believing And I believe we can make a difference if we try I know it seems impossible but it only takes one person to change a life The time is now. Because enough is enough thats enough It's time for love With love comes peace And with peace comes unity And through unity we can set the whole world free From the limits and the gimmicks That are made to keep us blind If we just keep open hearts and combine them with open minds We can reach any goal No matter how difficult We can accomplish any dream With less distance in between Who I am and who you are And accepting different hearts You're you I'm me Why can't we let each other be And accept that yes we're different But we're also the same Just trying to keep our heads up And do something that'll remain In the memories of the world After we're long gone Right now we're all just trying To find someway to hold on But if I reach out my hand And you reach out yours too Imagine how many people would follow And what that hand could do. It's a bass, a foundation Something to believe in It could be the hand you're neighbor needs Or the one thing you need to see To give you hope, faith, a dream I believe we can make a difference if we try It may seem impossible but it only takes one person to save a life The time is now Because enough is enough Thats enough It's time for love
