Night of FireA Poem by Robert Malcomthis poem is my sequel to a poem a friend of mine wroteThe page shines bright in the shadowed light and the halls of night are fire. In the fright of Heightened excitement right - below the flame grows higher. Death and Life as the edge of a knife two seperate forces dwell. A strain transparent plane disdain- -fully borders them with hell. for in between is murder, the transferral of a soul. the blade complete while time deplete the less becomes the full. so one is born, is killed, and dies his spirit falls away as life brings death and hate and lies riddled all along the way. the fire burns and sets ablaze the light up in the sky. the black inferno ends the days of life as all begins to die. the truth of this is written below that one should die so one shall know, the is no Love in love alone. no love, only death bestow... so here I'll remain in this cryptic mind with my flashlight ready, our escape to find © 2012 Robert Malcom |
