Alone

Blah blah, just going through a breakup, don't mind me.

Is it wrong that I want to hold your hand

so I don't feel this alone, 

as I fall back into the great unknown?

is it bad that I want to hide away

with you until my days are through,

and I know what to do?

Is it okay if I ask for a hug?

is it alright if we talk,

because I'm tired of expressing my pain with a shrug.

But.

You're so busy with life

and I know it's right

for you to focus on school

and it's cool with me

if we wait until you're free.

But.

Every second I spend alone

in this place that I call home,

I feel like my fears are right,

and I give up the fight.
