A Poem by Pierce Bryant
"

...

"
I have killed so many,
loved ones gone
Sand, whisked by wind
to so far away.
I keep the void, onto myself
Bound toward an aimless past
in this hollow home.
Fears of unsavory tongues
words to rot any future grace
From these I stay
so far away.
Doomed to pace these linear circles
I hold their trace in this hollowed home.
Moving quick to no where,
to dust does turn, skin and bone.
And as the sands of those removed,
I too, am swept so far away.
But to those that listen,
still may hear
The soft whisper of a trapped soul
fraught to an eternal roam.
Kept in my hollow home.
