![]() Psalms of FireA Poem by Pierce Bryant
Some fires have distinct composure
While some burn with arbitration to insanity. Lucky to find one so contemptuous Precociously vivid in portrayal, What a bore it would be if thou were any other. As acrimonious by night thy leaves me to dream, Rapture me not from scrutiny Make me burn slow, I am most willing. Lie if need, I am listening. Moving slow with conjecture for forthcoming, Let this burden be my slow undying. Wind with fuel to thy flame I pleasantly await, Rhapsody to thy bestowed fortune. Slave me through blaze. © 2017 Pierce Bryant |
