Mary Jane

Mary Jane

A Poem by Ashley Pierce
"

A taboo topic

"

When she walks in the room everyone stops and stares

Her long legs and full hair demanding attention

Her perfume fills the air and everyone inhales

In with their problems out with her voice

Strangers stare at her and quickly turn their heads

They don’t know the sensation she brings

They try to band her from all areas

She’s not driven away that easily

Those who are familiar with her lifestyle embrace her presence

Allowing her to take the spotlight in the room

Dancing to the same song, in sync with the wave of her hips

She loves the attention

When she’s around they have no worries

When her perfume fills the air smiles emerge

There’s no better feeling than to be in a room care free with her

Mary Jane

This makes me think she is a ghost. I know that ain't what you were going for but that's what I think of. Nice use of words. You opened up many ideas for it.
