Cherish Every Moment

Cherish Every Moment

A Poem by Morgan Bland
"

a Shakespearean Sonnet

"

When a person is bored time seems to die

slowly, tediously, dragging onward

though when one is engaged time seems to fly

joyfully dancing, going on forward

Though bored, one needs to enjoy every day

When times are dull one needs to carry on

Holding on to each minute, come what may

Trying to focus, stifling a yawn

When interested, treasure each minute

for times will come that will not be so fair

enjoy these great moments till their limit

sing with delight while the time has no care

So cherish every second, good and bad

For life is short and should not be so sad

Good advice. Cherish the good and bad. All the events and circumstances refine us.

This shows to always cherish every moment of your life because you never know when something terrible will happen or when you wont get those moments again.
