Life is a String

Life is a String

A Poem by Morgan Bland

Life is a string.

Easily broken, wasted.

A mistake is made, a knot is tied.

Life is strengthened, but not the same.

Life is a string.

Full of endless possibilities.

A good opportunity is taken, the chord thickens.

Stress and worry override, it thins.

Life is a string.

Different, with each who possess.

Some bend and twist it, forcefully resist it.

Others treasure it fully to the end.
