God be my witness

I look to live my life with purpose

until it's all said and finished,

and i'm aware that im not perfect 

and to this may God be my witness.

I will love unselfishly and

try my best to be a greater man,

and to God be my witness

I will do the best I can.

I was raised alone in my emotions

 and I took a lot of loss that seemed senseless,

but prayer became my way of coping

and to this may my God be my witness!

I'm agnostic but I have recognized the power of faith and its ability to change the heart of an individual and bring them closer toward their humanity. But the teachings are only as good as the teacher and their intent. Yet for the most part there is an inherent good in the graces of faith. As reflected in this work. Thank you for sharing your truth.
