Melody

Melody

A Poem by Picasso
"

Dedicated to my unborn daughter

"
My heart will nod in rhythm
as my tears will flow from your melodic cries,
my emotions seems to be hyperactive and I feel them
and I know they'll be heavy when you arrive.

I can't wait to see you smile
because it will be proof that i'm being a great dad,
my love will always go the extra mile
to give you the things that I never had.

I won't be able to shield you from the horrors of the world,
but please believe i'll do the best I can
because everytime you look at me I want you to see
the definition of a real man.

I can't wait to dress for tea parties
or read you bedtime stories every night,
I can't wait to buy you Bratz dolls and Barbies
and watch you grow inch by inch in height.

Your life will give mine's extra meaning
because I know i'll see alot of things differently,
at times i feel like i'm dreaming
God could've given me any daughter i'm just glad you're meant
for me!

youre very welcome
I am so happy for you! You are going to be best dad for your first child. This poem makes me feel how are the feelings of a parent. From your words I think it's a girl, and she will be amazed when she will be able to read your poem. Bianca
