Dedicated to humanity

Where to go from here 

in a world that's not sincere,

humanity's wrath is on full display while our infants grow in constant fear.

Suffering is a way a life

and compassion seems to be in our rearview,

the future seems dim without light

stripping the innocents from their youth.

There's no signs or directions to show

us which way to go,

our prayers become vague in a society

where there's no possibility of hope.

I walk a lonely road by my lonesome

stuck in headlights like fragile deer,

Im like a traveler without a destination

just wondering "Where to go from here?"

It truly is a shame the kind of legacy we are leaving behind to these children. One of hate and indifference toward others especially those that don't look like you. We have failed them. For those that claim this is a Christian nation they sure don't act like it. Nothing Christian about hating your neighbors and throwing kids into cages and finding that acceptable. I question whether they even believe in faith because they sure don't act like they do. Thank you for sharing your poem.
