Distorted Reality

Distorted Reality

A Poem by PianoFiend
"

My opinion and observation of lies.

"

When you lie to others, you lie to yourself.

The lies get inside, twisting your mind.

What you once were is gone.

You are what you told yourself you wouldn't be.

Then you lie again,

denying and therefore embracing hypocrisy,

and that is the nature

of humanity.

No hope? No?

Lies can run very deep.
