Staying, a Question.

Staying, a Question.

A Poem by Pi Cee
"

I'm glad to be back, if only for a while.

"
A head on a shoulder
  Mine   Yours
Breathing in perfect harmony
Jack Johnson in the background of our couch.

Just our eyes- no lips, hands involved.
Relating perfect intimacy.
Simple, gentle voices,
a hum from you, soft lyrics from me.
Looking for what'll make me stay.

Your arms?
to hold me tight against you,
or keep me from running away?

Your eyes,
     to gaze lovingly,
or think to leave me behind?

Your lips...to whisper dreams- of love and want and faith,
 into my sensitive ear?
Your hands, to soothe my knots of indecision.

I think I will stay,
        curled lovingly against your chest,
listening, to our synchronized beats.. .

This is really beautiful, questions that go through a heart , when it is full of decisions to make, one huge step..stay or go?

Romance plus a hint of insecurity, the ingredients for a perfect love poem.

Dreams and wishes are very good. We need hope and goals of real love and possibilities. I like the flow of thoughts and the very good ending. Thank you for the excellent poem.

I hope your reality manifests. A truly wonderful poem. Say's the Old Romantic in the tough guy suit. Beautifully written with such intimacy.
