Pause for a Moment, Please

Pause for a Moment, Please

A Poem by Pi Cee

I can't say much

I just grew up.

The rain tried to wash away

and my heart got burned and scared.

This life is new, the world's too cruel

but I still can find the smiles we all

try to hide.

I'm not one to try to seek where

you can look and laugh and stare

But give it time, I blossom and bloom.

There is wisdom in your poem. We can learn pain and hurt. But we must try to keep a smile and hold on to hope. Thank you for the excellent poem.
